Entrepreneurship was part of his life long before software. He grew up in a family of business owners — a father who ran a landscaping company, a mother who owned a carpet-cleaning business, an uncle who owned a restaurant and hotel, and another who built a jewelry business. He saw firsthand what it takes to win customers, solve problems, make payroll, and keep showing up.

Travis went on to spend more than 20 years in banking and finance leadership before moving deeper into technology. He has taken software from idea to market, scaled a company beyond $1M in annual revenue, built customer acquisition engines, and led distributed teams across engineering, sales, customer success, and operations.

That combination gives him a rare perspective: the technical ability to build, the growth instincts to find customers, executive-level experience to scale, and a truckload of grit and tenacity to keep pushing when things get difficult.

Travis and his wife are both longtime operators. She is the CEO of a hospital group, and together they have spent their careers building, leading, fixing, and growing complex organizations from the inside — not from a slide deck.
